female audience member: I was wondering if you were aware of the Loki Fandom and if you anticipated that when you were making "The Avengers"?
Joss: [total dead pan sarcastic voice] Are you implying that some gals think Loki is sexy?
*audience cheers, especially females*
Joss: Well I've hugged him. Awkwardly and for too long.
*audience laughs*
Joss: Um. Yeah. Is there something particular about it, aside from the fact that Hiddleston is a stud and the character is really cool and evil?
Joss: [relenting] Okay.
female audience member: [clarifies question without using a mic so no idea what was said]
Joss: You know, I actually saw Tom in a production of "Othello " that Chiwetel Ejiofor did years before he got Loki. And he was playing Cassio, which is an incredibly unmemorable role, most of the time.
Joss: And every body was like "WHO is that guy??"
Joss: And of course he's like [Joss raises his arm WAY above his head, indicating Tom's height] like this … this.. crane. And um, and he makes that impression.
Joss: So no, I was not surprised when he [counts off on his hand, one] got the part, [two] I wasn't surprised when he BLEW the doors off of every scene I gave him, [three] and I wasn't surprised when the *ladies* all wanted Loooooki …. to get *luuuucky*.
